Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sweet potatoes, mashed
1 egg
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 stick oleo or butter
cornflakes
miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Cook and mash 3 cups sweet potatoes.
Add egg.
Add sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, milk, salt and 1 tablespoon butter.
Melt 1/2 stick oleo or butter in casserole.
Add layer of crushed cornflakes, layer of sweet potatoes mixture and a layer of miniature marshmallows (1 cup).
Repeat above 3 layers.
Sprinkle a few crushed cornflakes over top layer of marshmallows.
Cover. Bake 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Uncover, brown and serve.
