Borscht(Beet Soup) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
1 c. water
1 c. beet juice
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. ketchup
1 c. shredded cabbage
1 can sliced beets
1 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
In a pan, saute onions in butter.
Add to pan with all the other ingredients.
Cover and cook about 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
Serve with sour cream saltines.
Can be eaten without cream.
You can add more cabbage and beets to recipe.
