Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. cold water
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamy mixture with milk.
Stir until smooth.
Stir in raisins and spread in a greased 8-inch square pan.
Combine brown sugar and cold water.
Pour over batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve warm.
