Homemade Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shelled raw peanuts
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix peanuts, Karo syrup, water and sugar together.
    Cook on medium high, stirring constantly until syrup turns a caramel color, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soda and stir vigorously for a few seconds.
    Then pour on a greased cookie sheet.
    When cool, break in desired pieces.
