Mom'S Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
Fresh lemon juice
Preparation

Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Melt butter.
Add sugar and dissolve.
Pour water with cornstarch into butter and brown sugar mixture and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and squeeze juice from lemon (to taste).
