Heavenly Hash Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple tidbits
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
    6 maraschino cherries
    2 c. whipped cream or 2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Drain tidbits; mix the syrup and water.
    Boil.
    Add rice and salt.
    Reduce heat; cover and cook.
    Cool.
    Fold in pineapple, marshmallows, cherries (quartered) and whipped cream.
    Chill. Serves 8.
