My Mom'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Brown Sugar
    3 - 4 slices of buttered Bread, cubed
    3 Eggs, beaten
    2 c. Milk
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    pinch Salt
Preparation
    Place in top of double boiler, Sugar; add buttered and cubed Bread.
    Add Eggs that have been beaten with Milk, Vanilla and Salt. Do not mix or stir.
    Cook 1 hour over boiling water or until custard is firm.
    Serve warm plain or with cream.
