Flitch (Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box 10x sugar (add a little cornstarch)
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. milk
    peanut butter
Preparation
    Sift the sugar.
    Add melted butter and vanilla.
    Add a little milk at a time.
    Mix until creamy.
    Roll out flat on wax paper. Spread with peanut butter.
    Form into a roll.
    Cut in 3 pieces and put in refrigerator until firm.
    Cut into thin slices.
    May also be frozen.
