Strawberry Brunch Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped strawberries
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Combine the lemon peel, eggs, honey and oil.
Stir in the strawberries and almonds.
Add mixture all at once to flour mixture and stir only until flour is moistened.
Pour into greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes before turning onto rack.
