Green Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes, chopped (measure after chopped)
    10 red peppers, chopped
    10 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. salt
    1 qt. white vinegar
    3 lb. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. whole cinnamon
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Soak tomatoes, peppers and onions 2 hours in salt; add no water.
    Wash 3 times.
    Tie the spices in a bag.
    Put all together and cook 1 hour.
    Remove spice bag and relish is ready for cans.
