Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 (8 oz. size) pkg. softened cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. peanut butter chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the butter, both sugars and cream cheese.
Stir in vanilla and egg.
Stir in flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Stir in peanut butter chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonful at least 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until set but still soft.
Cool 1 minute and remove from cookie sheet.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
