Mediterranean Chicken And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    1/4 c. flour
    3 lb. chicken
    4 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. quartered green pepper
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, broken up
    1 c. water
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Italian dressing
    1/16 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/2 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Slice mushrooms. Dredge chicken with flour; shake off excess. Heat oil in large saucepan. Add chicken and brown well. Remove chicken.
    To oil remaining, add onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute 4 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, water, salt, Italian dressing and red pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice.
    Return chicken to saucepan.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    Serves 4.
