"No-Peek" Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean chuck, cut into 2-inch cubes
1 3/4 oz. pkg. onion soup mix
10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. red wine or water
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (optional)
Preparation

Put all ingredients in a 2 1/2-quart casserole and cover. Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
DO NOT PEEK!
Let stand for 30 minutes before serving. Can be served with cooked rice or noodles. Serves 6.
This can also be made in an appropriate sized crock-pot.\tCook about 6 hours.
