Harvest Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Combine egg, sweet potatoes, sugar, shortening and margarine in a bowl; mix well.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead lightly several times on floured surface.
    Roll to 1/4-inch thickness; cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Makes 17 biscuits.
