Lima Beans With Mushrooms And Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen lima beans
    2 cans mushrooms or 1/2 lb. fresh
    1 medium onion, minced
    5 stalks crisp celery
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. heavy cream (I use half and half)
    paprika (for garnish)
    a little sherry (if desired)
Preparation
    Cook beans.
    Mince onion.
    Cut celery into 1/2-inch pieces as thick as a matchstick.
    Saute the onion and celery in butter until golden.
    Add mushrooms.
    Sprinkle flour, mixed with salt, nutmeg and pepper.
    Toss until well blended.
    Reduce heat and stir cream in.
    Add to cooked beans.
    I serve in a vegetable dish.
    Garnish with lots of paprika.
    Stir in a little sherry just before serving if desired.
