Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    6 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg, one at a time.
    Combine the dry ingredients.
    Add to butter and sugar with the milk.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Roll out dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut as desired and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
