Irene'S Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. fruit or berries (fresh or if frozen, drain liquid out)
1 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo or butter
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Combine fruit with 1 cup sugar and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Melt butter in 12 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish.
Mix flour and baking powder and add the second cup of sugar with milk and blend well.
Pour batter over melted butter (oleo) in baking dish and ladle hot fruit mix and juice over top of dish.
Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
