Dipped Chocolate Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. Angel Flake coconut
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    3 c. pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. boxed powdered sugar
    1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 small (6 oz.) or 2 large (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    solid shortening
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl and freeze.
    Roll into balls or small thin logs.
    Stick toothpicks into balls and freeze.
