Cheesy Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 lb.) stewing chicken or 6 chicken breasts
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
    2 c. milk
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 to 1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Early
    on
    day:
    Gently simmer whole chicken or breasts in salted
    boiling
    water
    just
    to cover, 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Remove
    chicken;
    let cool;
    then remove skin. Thinly slice chicken; cover with wax paper and refrigerate.
