Meltaway Chocolate Brownies(Makes 16 Brownies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. (eight 1 oz. blocks) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. unsifted flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter in saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches a full boil.
    Remove from heat; add semi-sweet chocolate (broken into pieces), stirring until melted.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix until smooth.
    Blend in nuts. Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from sides of pan. Cool; frost if desired.
    Cut into squares.
