Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Great Northern beans
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/4 c. catsup
    1/2 c. pancake syrup
    1 ham hock or shank
Preparation
    Boil beans for 1 1/2 hours.
    Drain.
    In a roaster, add beans, brown sugar, dry mustard, catsup and pancake syrup.
    Mix together, then put in ham hock.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 4 to 5 hours until beans are soft.
    Add more water and sugar as necessary.
    Can take ham hock after baking and break up the meat and put in the beans.
