Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 8 x 8-inch pan.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add shortening, half of buttermilk and 1 egg.
Beat 2 minutes.
Add remaining egg and buttermilk; beat 2 minutes more.
Pour all batter at once time into pan.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
Muffin tins, bake 25 minutes.
