Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped sauerkraut (cold)
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 carrot, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients together.
    Mix the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
    Boil for 10 minutes; pour over first mixture.
    Let set for 45 minutes before serving.
    Good with fish.
