Ingredients

2 c. cooked beets (canned)
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
pepper to taste
liquid from beets
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour; add vinegar and beet juice.
Cook until thickened.
Add salt and butter and add to beets and heat.
