Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 medium sliced onion
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onion and green pepper slices with salt and let stand, covered, for 1 hour.
    Blend together the sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
    Drain the cucumber mixture and pour the sugar mixture over them.
    Place in a covered container in the refrigerator.
    Enjoy a very low calorie food.
    Serves 10 to 15.
