Ingredients

4 large carrots (1 lb.)
3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 Tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Cut carrots into long thin strips.
Set aside.
Combine brown sugar, margarine, water, salt and cinnamon in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Microwave on High (100%) until margarine is melted, 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir to blend.
Stir in carrots until coated.
Cover, microwave on High (100%) until carrots are tender, 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once.
Serves 4 to 6.
