Apple-Nut Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. finely chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Set aside.
    Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream granulated sugar and shortening.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture.
    Fold in apples.
    Spread batter in prepared pan. Combine nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon and stir in butter.
    Sprinkle evenly over batter and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
