Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Beat shortening, vanilla and sugar together.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick on floured surface.
    Cut with 2-inch cutter.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 about 8 minutes.
