Chicken Asparagus Casserole(A Good Company Dish; Beautiful Color) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole chicken breasts
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 small can Carnation milk
    3/4 lb. sharp grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 small jar pimiento
    2 large cans asparagus
    1 c. slivered toasted almonds
Preparation
    Boil chicken in seasoned water (onion and celery) until done; cool and chop.
    Saute onions in butter and add remaining ingredients
    except asparagus and almonds.\tSimmer sauce until cheese
    melts.
    To\tassemble,
    place layer of chicken in large glass

    13-inch casserole; then layer asparagus, then top with
    sauce
    and almonds.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
