Miniature Fruitcakes - cooking recipe

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. chopped mixed candied fruit (about 4 oz.)
2 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
halved candied cherries
Preparation

In a bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Combine egg yolks and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients.
