Pat'S Soy Ginger Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (4-inch) piece grated ginger
    2 c. soy sauce
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except cornstarch in heavy saucepan. Mix well.
    Heat on low 1 hour.
    Mix cornstarch with small amount of water to make a paste.
    Stir into mixture.
    Heat on low for 20 minutes.
    Can be made 5 days in advance.
    When reheating, do not boil.
    Great on chicken or fish.
    Brush on while grilling.
