Corn Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    5 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/4 bell pepper, chopped
    red pepper
    black pepper
    salt
    bread crumbs
    butter or oleo
Preparation
    Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper in bacon fat.
    Add corn. Add egg beaten with milk.
    Add corn meal and season to taste. Stir mixture over medium fire until thick.
    Pour into a buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
