Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 or 3 heads dill
    1 or 2 garlic cloves
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Put in bottom of quart jar the sugar, salt, mustard seed, turmeric, dill heads and garlic cloves.
    Put cucumbers in jar. Boil vinegar and water; pour over cukes and seal.
    Do not process. Shake them when cold to mix spices.
