Veggie Beef Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. hamburger
2 c. water
1 can beef broth
1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained), chopped
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 bay leaf
1 c. sliced carrots
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. basil leaves
Preparation

Brown hamburger; season with pepper, seasoning salt and garlic powder to taste. Set meat aside. Combine ingredients in a 5-quart stockpot. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add meat and simmer for 20 minutes longer. Remove bay leaf.
