Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. orange rind
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening.
    Combine juice, rind and egg.
    Pour, all at once, into dry ingredients, mixing just enough to dampen.
    Fold in nuts and cranberries.
    Pour into greased and floured bread pan (9 x 5 x 3-inches).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
