Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can pie filling
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and add vanilla.
    Add eggs.
    Stir in flour and add nuts.
    Mix well.
    Spread 3/4 of batter in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cover with pie filling and add rest of batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
