Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cube margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    2 c. fruit, sweetened with sugar to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in 8-inch square pan.
    Mix sugar, flour and milk by hand.
    Pour batter over melted butter.
    Pour fruit into middle of batter in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown on top.
    Serve warm with ice cream.
    Double this amount to make 9 x 13-inch pan.
