Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ears fresh corn, cut and scraped from cob
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 qt. water
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except egg into skillet.
    Cook until liquid is nearly all gone.
    Stir in beaten egg and stir corn until it is thick.
    Serve hot.
