Giant Chocolate Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 c. oil
    1 egg
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. crisp rice cereal
    12 oz. pkg. (2 c.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Line cookie sheets with foil.
    In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add oil, egg and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup.
    Level off and add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
    Stir in oats, coconut, cereal and chocolate chips.
    Press scant cup of dough into a 6-inch circle on foil-lined cookie sheet.
    Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies at least 2 1/2 inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 22 minutes, or until light and golden brown.
    Cool completely on cookie sheets to prevent breaking.
    Makes 8 large cookies, 32 servings.
