5 Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. yellow food coloring
5 eggs
Preparation

Mix first 2 ingredients together.
Add eggs, one at a time. Then add vanilla and food coloring.
Beat with mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Alternate flour and milk until mixed thoroughly.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven in 3 round 8-inch pans for 30 minutes.
