Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 green pepper
    1 lb. ground beef (ground chuck is better)
    1 small can kidney beans
    1 small can tomato paste
    3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder (more, if desired)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine chopped ingredients; combine with at least a half cup of water in cooking vessel or pot.
    Let cook over very low heat until tender.
    Brown the ground beef and add all other ingredients listed in the pot with the vegetables and browned beef.
    Add enough water for a desired consistency.
    Let simmer over very low heat for at least 45 minutes to one hour.
    Makes a serving for at least 6.
