Chocolate-Peanut Bars(Chewy And Crisp At The Same Time.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
Preparation
    Combine syrup, sugar and salt in saucepan. Bring to a full boil.
    Stir in peanut butter. Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla, cereals and chocolate pieces.
    Press into buttered 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Chill about 1 hour.
    Cut in small bars or squares.
    (For easy serving, store in refrigerator.) Makes about 2 dozen bars.
