Spicy Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 box dry mustard
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. powdered cloves
1 tsp. black pepper
1 or 2 large onions peeled and sliced
2 gal. tomatoes, peeled and quartered

Preparation

Cook tomatoes and onions until done.
Add spices and other ingredients and cook slowly until very thick, stirring often. Will mike 1 large dishpan 3/4 full.
