Slumgullion - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, diced into quarter size cubes
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 large can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    sugar
Preparation
    Saute onion and potatoes in a little oil until potatoes are done.
    Pour tomatoes in and simmer.
    Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle a little sugar in to cut the tomato tart taste.
    Simmer just a few minutes longer.
    This is served over grits and eaten with fried fish.
    You just have to try it to like it.
