Chili Cornbread Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 envelope chili seasoning mix
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Add onion and pepper.
    Cook for several minutes, stirring frequently.
    Stir in salt, seasoning mix and tomato sauce.
    Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Combine muffin mix and evaporated milk.
    Spread evenly over casserole.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
