Wedding Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1 pt. lime sherbet
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream
    1 (12 oz.) bottle ginger ale or 7-Up
Preparation
    Combine juice, sherbet and 1/2 ice cream.
    Beat until smooth. Add 7-Up or ginger ale.
    Spoon remaining ice cream into punch. Serve immediately.
    Yields 14 (1/2 cups).
