Ingredients

3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sweet milk
2 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Measure and sift dry ingredients together.
Beat egg yolks and add milk.
Pour milk mixture slowly into dry ingredients; beat thoroughly.
Add melted butter, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake on hot griddle.
Makes about 12 medium sized cakes.
