Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium apples, sliced thin
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix apples, cinnamon and sugar.
    Set aside.
    Put other ingredients in large bowl and beat together until smooth.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Put layer of batter and layer of apples. Continue layering; end with layer of apples on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
    Test with toothpick.
