Low Cholesterol Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    3 medium ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 c.)
    1/4 c. oil
    4 egg whites
    1/4 c. buttermilk or dry buttermilk *
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Mix in wheat germ.
    Add all remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
    Place in a greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about one hour, or until done.
    Makes one loaf.
