Franks And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1/2 ??? caraway seed
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 medium thinly sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 medium apples
    melted margarine
    brown sugar
    frankfurters
Preparation
    Combine sauerkraut, caraway seed, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, onion slices and margarine.
    Place in shallow square baking dish.
    Cut unpeeled apples into halves and remove cores.
    Brush cut surfaces with margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Arrange apple halves on the sauerkraut in a diagonal line across the center of the casserole.
    Place 2 frankfurters on each side of the apple halves. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serve immediately.
